Pavillion Park

Broadstairs

Arguably one of the most intriguing pieces of architecture in Kent, Bevan Mansions (now named Pavillion Park) was built to order by Lord Vestey and combines a lot of the architectural styles of the day, while combining them with older styles and even features devised by Lord Vestey himself. As a result, the building has a sensational feel of peace and tranquillity, while the style draws the eye. 14-foot high ceilings on the ground floor are complemented by metre thick walls protecting against the elements, while the woodwork in the communal areas would have been created with consummate skill in an age before prefabricated design.

Marson achieved planning to convert the building to 14 luxury residential apartments and was able to retain the historic internal features of the building while combining it with tasteful and modern décor.
